West Indies take on India in Ranchi on Friday, 9 October, aiming to level their five-match Twenty20 international series after the hosts won the opening contest.
The second T20 international at the JSCA International Stadium Complex is scheduled to begin at 7pm local time, 2.30pm in the United Kingdom and 9.30am in the Eastern Caribbean.
India lead the series 1–0 after completing an eight-wicket win in Lucknow on Tuesday, chasing West Indies' 171 all out and reaching their target with more than five overs to spare.
India captain Shreyas Iyer led the chase with an unbeaten century, while the West Indies attack struggled to contain the scoring.
For the Caribbean visitors, captain Shai Hope will be seeking a stronger collective display from the batting and bowling groups after the disappointment of the first match.
With three more fixtures to follow, a victory in Ranchi would restore parity and put West Indies back into contention for the series.
The sides are due to meet again in Indore on Sunday, 11 October, before the remaining matches in Hyderabad and Bengaluru.
Team selection, the toss and any developments once play begins should be checked against the official match centre before this preview is updated.
Jam Radio will follow the West Indies' progress throughout the series.
